A few commercial buildings may need to keep the inside as quiet as possible. Blocking outside noise can be easily achieved by installing the Babcock-Davis’ Double Door AcousticMAX™ 48 Smoke Vent. It features an innovative sound control and superior thermal performance. The sound rating is an STC48 and OITC 36. The finish on the inside is a black powder coat, while the outside finish is a high-reflectance white powder coat. The cover is a metal with line and withstands a live load of 40psf, while the curb is a double wall with an easy tab counter flash and mounting flange.
