36" x 30" Thermally Broken Ladder Access Roof Hatch Type S - Bilco
Make sure your building has a thermal roof hatch. BestRoofHatches proudly introduces the Type S-50TB Thermally Broken Ladder Access Roof Hatch can reduce heat transfer between the exterior and interior surfaces withstand harmful condensation. It has ozone-friendly polyisocyanurate insulation (R-20+), providing superior energy efficiency to the building.
The roof hatch comes in all standard single leaf sizes, and you also have special single-leaf sizes you can choose upon request. The material for the cover and frame is 11 gauge aluminum. The gasket is an extruded EPDM rubber permanently adhered to the cover. The roof hatch also has heavy-duty pintle hinges with ?". It has a slam latch with the interior and exterior turn handles and padlock hasps. The curb is 12" in height with integral cap flashing, 3" polyisocyanurate insulation, fully welded at corners, and 5-1/2" mounting flange with 7/16" holes provided for securing frames to the roof deck.
When you open the cover, it's assisted with compression spring operators enclosed in telescopic tubes. It can be held open because of an automatic hold-open arm with a grip release handle. You can only buy it in a mill finish aluminum, and all hardware is zinc plated/chromate sealed.
