LADDER ACCESS ROOF HATCH from BILCO is a one-hand easy operation during fully open and close position; it is engineered to provide users the security of one hand firmly on a ladder at all times. This ladder access from BILCO is available in stainless steel, aluminum, and galvanized construction, depending on the building requirement specifications. It incorporates a hold-open arm mechanism with a grip release handle that will open wide to ensure safe access. The positive latching mechanism and heavy gauge construction will help to maintain security in the building. 

Specifications:

Material: Aluminum: 11 gauge (2.3 mm) aluminum. 

Steel: 14 gauge (2 mm) G-90 paint bond galvanized steel. 

Stainless Steel: 14 gauge (2 mm) type 304 stainless steel

Cover: Brake Formed, hollow-metal design with concealed fiberglass insulation 1"" (25 mm), 3"" (76 mm) beaded, fully welded at corners overlapping flange, and internally reinforced for 40psf (195 kg/m2) live load.

Gasket: Extruded EPDM rubber gasket

Hinges: Heavy-duty pintle hinges with stainless 3/8"" (9 mm) Type 316 hinge pins.

Latch: Slam latch with the exterior and interior padlock hasps and turn handles and 

Lift Assistance: Compression spring operators enclosed in telescopic tubes. Automatic hold-open arm with grip handle release.

Hardware:

Aluminum: Type 316 Stainless steel hinges. All other hardware is zinc plated/chromate sealed. 

Stainless Steel: Type 316 stainless steel.
