The hinges are heavy-duty pintles with Type 316 stainless steel hinge pins. 

The latch has a positive hold/release mechanism controlled by a single UL-listed 165°F fusible link. It features a design that locks up the cover closed against a 90 psf uplift force. It also comes with interior and exterior pull release cables for manual opening.
