The cover and frame material is 11 gauge aluminum, and the covers come with a translucent multi-wall polycarbonate sheet framed with hard extruded aluminum and coated for UV resistance.

This smoke vent's gasket is a dual durometer, co-extruded, EPDM rubber gasket mechanically fixed to the top of the curb. The hinges are also heavy-duty stainless steel pintles with BRH-LV stainless steel hinge pins. It also features a hold release mechanism controlled by a single UL-listed 165°F fusible link with a different latching point for each cover for the latch. There are also interior and exterior pull release cables for people to manually open vent covers. It only comes in a mill finish.

In aluminum construction and several UL-listed standard sizes, you can now take advantage of Lumivent's multi-wall polycarbonate cover design that resists UV degradation while offering superior insulation performance over traditional domes.
